A new comprehensive range of battery temperature sensing products from Amphenol Advanced Sensors for use in electric and hybrid electric vehicles and industrial portable power applications can now be sourced in Europe through TTI. The range offers reliable and accurate temperature measurement, an issue that is critical to long-term battery performance.

 The new convenient and portable mode 2 electric vehicle charging cordset from Delphi can now be sourced in Europe through TTI. It enables owners of electric vehicles to safely charge their vehicles anywhere from an available 240VAC grid supply. The technology used in the high-quality cordset offers a seamless transition between automotive and residential/commercial environments.  

NTC inrush current limiters (ICLs) from EPCOS for a wide range of industrial electronics applications can now be sourced in Europe through distributor TTI. Thanks to their very low resistance in the operating state, NTC ICLs offer very low power dissipation in both AC and DC circuits.

Now available in Europe through TTI is a broad range of inductors for power lines from Murata covering a wide range of sizes from 1.6mm x 0.8mm up to 12mm square. The devices are manufactured using multiple techniques including Metal Alloy wire wound construction techniques and Ferrite multilayer techniques.

Highly reliable power and signal Molex Picoflex connectors are now available in Europe through TTI. Tested to meet the requirements of high-vibration and shock environments found in a wide number of industrial, consumer and automotive products, the connectors have a space-saving, robust package which suits diverse wire-to-board applications and also mates with industry-standard 1.27mm pitch ribbon cable.

AVX Supercapacitors or Double Layer Capacitors provide a combination of characteristics recognised as delivering an excellent compromise between electronic and dielectric capacitors. Available now in Europe through TTI are the AVX BestCap, SCC Series Cylindrical and SCM Series Module capacitors.

A series of new patented IHM (Integrated Health Monitoring) Aerospace Proximity Sensors for harsh duty aircraft applications are now available in Europe through TTI. The IHM Series are non-contact devices designed to sense the presence or absence of a target, providing on/off output, plus they can also be configured with an optional health monitoring output to the host system.

A new series of heavy-duty power connectors from TE Connectivity is now available in Europe through TTI. Snap-Lug Quick-Disconnect Power Connectors enable fast interconnection of heavy gauge power cables to bus bars, relays, batteries, power cables, grounding devices and more in aerospace, defence, marine and other harsh-environment applications.

A wide portfolio of discrete TVS diode devices from Littelfuse ranging from 200W up to 30kW including ultra high power AK families up to 15kA can now be sourced in Europe through TTI. The high reliability and flexibility of the TVS diodes meets the requirements of numerous aerospace, military, industrial, as well as medical applications.

Now available in Europe through TTI are KEMET’s X7R and C0G automotive-grade surface mount multilayer ceramic chip capacitors (MLCCs) for a variety of applications requiring reliable operation. The X7R and C0G components undergo a strict testing protocol and inspection criteria making them ideal for use in harsh environmental conditions.

Four new series of Murata inclination sensors that are claimed to have the best shock durability on the MEMS market are now available in Europe at TTI. The inclinometers help determine the 3D position of agriculture and construction equipment when operating in rough outdoor environments, as well as high accuracy levelling and inclination measurement instruments and platform levelling and stabilisation applications.

Claimed to be the industry’s first bi-directional 1500W surface-mount PAR transient voltage suppressors (TVS) in a low-profile eSMP® SMPC (TO-277A) package, Vishay’s TPCxxCA Series is now available in Europe at TTI. The devices have a low profile of typically just 1.1mm, (around 52% lower than the traditional SMC package) and a 38% smaller footprint.

Panasonic’s ZK series hybrid capacitors are now in stock across Europe at distributor TTI. The current-carrying capabilities of Molex’s new Mega-fit power connectors have been extended to 23A per circuit. They are available in Europe at TTI. The power connectors provide far higher current density than existing mid-range power connectors and incorporate many features characteristic of Molex power products, including isolated terminals, polarised housings and positive housing locks.

Four new KSC ULL Tact switch series from C&K offer ultra-extended product lifetimes for demanding applications and these are now available in Europe at TTI. C&K’s new KSC201, KSC401, KSC701 and KSC1001 Series are surface-mount switches, sealed to IP-67, with a compact footprint.

The HCMA Series of high current power inductors are now available from TTI in Europe. The products are designed to withstand temperature and shock stresses found in automotive applications to support greater reliability in electronics for Advanced Drive Assistance Systems (ADAS), vehicle control, body control, lighting, infotainment, cluster controls, heating and air conditioning, chassis and safety systems.

Now available in Europe through TTI are Yageo’s CQ series surface mount multilayer ceramic capacitors (SMD MLCCs), also known as high quality factor capacitors (high-Q capacitors). The devices add copper inner electrodes and firing ceramic materials with excellent dielectric characteristics, providing lower dissipation and fewer self-heating problems compared to standard MLCCs.

Now available in Europe through TTI are Vishay’s automotive-grade IHLD dual inductors offering high temperature operation up to +155°C. The new low-profile and high-current devices save board space by combining two inductors in one 9.75mm by 9.14mm package and provide a very good performance in Class D amplifiers.
