Super bright LEDs light up range of applications

Super-bright reddish-orange, green and yellow versions of Kingbright’s most popular through-hole and SMD-LEDs are now available at distributor TTI. The super-bright reddish-orange has a dominant wavelength of 625nm, the super-bright green a dominant wavelength of 525nm and the super-bright yellow a dominant wavelength of 590nm.

Power connectors cover applications up to 65A

TTI now has available TE Connectivity’s Dynamic Series, a broad product family for diverse industrial applications ranging from low level signal circuitry through high current power circuits up to 65A.  A feature of the Dynamic Series is a centralised wiring system, which is modular and can be expanded as required, saving time and reducing cost.

Connectors target thin LED lighting-module applications

Offering a low profile, easy wire removal, as well as low wire insertion and high wire retention forces and ideal for thin LED lighting-module applications, Molex’s Lite-Trap SMT wire-to-board connectors can now be ordered from TTI. The Lite-Trap connectors offer the lowest profile (4.20mm) available of similar wire-removable types. Other lower-profile versions are permanent one-time connection types that do not allow wire removal.

Atex Field Bus connector meets device group II category 3G

TTI is now taking orders for Amphenol’s Atex Field Bus range designed for device group II category 3. According to EN60079-15 the devices may be operated within zone 2 and class I, Division 2, as low power non sparking connectors. Main target applications are aerospace & defence, oil & gas, process control, as well as factory automation.

Cable insertion by angle improved by rotary connector

TTI is taking orders for Omron’s XF3M rotary backlock connector. The device enables an improved and easy insertion of FPC/FFC cables by angle to enhance work efficiency and helps confirm a proper connection with a positive tactile feeling when it is locked. LED drivers one of many applications for high-voltage chip capacitors

Four new series of capacitors from Nichicon are now available from TTI. The Nichicon LR, LT, LV and LH Series high-voltage chip capacitors are designed specifically to provide reliable performance in applications such as automotive HID/LED ballasts, power supply equipment and battery monitoring units for electric vehicles/hybrid electric vehicles, power supplies and LED drivers.
