TTI is making Molex’s Brad MX-PTL M12 cordsets available throughout Europe. TTI is stocking Murata’s new line-up additions to its XRC family of crystal timing devices in Europe. Specifically designed for automotive applications, the new products are approximately 40% smaller than the industry norm and measure just 2.5mm x 2.0mm. Despite the small package, the ESR is 3 -50% lower than that of similar devices currently available on the market.

The Molex EdgeMate power connectors are on sale at distributor TTI. The devices offer positive PCB-locking and significant cost savings for wire-to-edge-card terminations in appliance, industrial and lighting applications. EdgeMate connectors are designed to help reduce cost by eliminating the need for mating headers in a wire-to-edge card.

TTI is now selling a new series of interlock door switches from C&K. The DS Series Door Interlock Switch offers flexibility as it has latching or momentary actions and can be used as an interlock switch, detection switch or circuit interrupt switch. Applications include gaming and vending machines - DS Series switches have a push/pull feature to break power when the machine door is opened for trouble-shooting, maintenance and repair.

Kingbright’s wide range of SMD-LEDs with dome lens is on sale at TTI. The dome lens packages, which include 0603 (KPTD-1608), 1206 (KPTD-3216), PLCC (KPED-3528) among others, provide narrow viewing angles of 15deg. to 30deg. thereby giving a more focussed and brighter output that eliminates any issue with light bleed.

TTI is now selling Molex’s VITA 66.1 ruggedised optical MT backplane interconnect system enables simple installation and maintenance for rugged embedded VPX MIL/AERO backplane applications. The interconnect system targets high-density aerospace, defence and commercial embedded system applications and is fully compliant with the ANSI-ratified 66.1 specification.

There can’t be a more suitable place show an automotive capacitor than Munich, home to BMW, so distributor TTI has chosen electronica to feature capacitors for high temperature automotive applications from Kemet. The devices are ideal for automotive applications above +125°C and up to +200°C, electric and hydraulic steering systems, electronic braking systems, engine and transmission control, as well as stop/start micro hybrid.

New miniature and robust 450 series .050in (1.27mm) pitch ribbon cable to PCB interconnects from 3M can now be sourced from TTI. The fine .050in pitch saves space on the PCB and allows for high connection density. The ribbon cable wiremount socket assembly, .050in x .050in, 451 series incorporates 3M’s insulation displacement contact (IDC) technology in the connector, helping maintain secure connections and high signal integrity.  

Molex’s Perfect Fit range comprises three series of robust, reliable power interconnects. Mega-Fit, Mini-Fit Jr and Micro-Fit 3.0 connectors provide a power solution for a wide range of applications across a broad range of markets, from defence to consumer. All three series are available from TTI.

Murata’s RUW15 Series DC/DC convertors are now available at TTI. Suited for rail, industrial and telecommunications applications, where variable input voltages or high transient voltages are present, the converters are capable of withstanding surges from 24V, 36V, 48V, 72V, 90V and 110V systems, largely eliminating the need for input protection circuitry.

Molex’s USB 3.0 (also known as SuperSpeed) Type A connectors that meet high- durability class requirements of 5,000 mating cycles can now be ordered from TTI. The devices are for use in computer, consumer and car product applications. The USB 3.0 connectors are halogen-free for environmental sustainability and support high, IR reflow temperatures of up to +255degC while maintaining solder mount compatibility.

Super-bright reddish-orange, green and yellow versions of Kingbright’s most popular through-hole and SMD-LEDs are now available at distributor TTI. The super-bright reddish-orange has a dominant wavelength of 625nm, the super-bright green a dominant wavelength of 525nm and the super-bright yellow a dominant wavelength of 590nm.

TTI now has available TE Connectivity’s Dynamic Series, a broad product family for diverse industrial applications ranging from low level signal circuitry through high current power circuits up to 65A.  A feature of the Dynamic Series is a centralised wiring system, which is modular and can be expanded as required, saving time and reducing cost.

Offering a low profile, easy wire removal, as well as low wire insertion and high wire retention forces and ideal for thin LED lighting-module applications, Molex’s Lite-Trap SMT wire-to-board connectors can now be ordered from TTI. The Lite-Trap connectors offer the lowest profile (4.20mm) available of similar wire-removable types. Other lower-profile versions are permanent one-time connection types that do not allow wire removal.

TTI is now taking orders for Amphenol’s Atex Field Bus range designed for device group II category 3. According to EN60079-15 the devices may be operated within zone 2 and class I, Division 2, as low power non sparking connectors. Main target applications are aerospace & defence, oil & gas, process control, as well as factory automation.
