Strategies of multidrug-resistant chronic infections

  A new study published in Cell Press finds that antibiotic treatment of chronic infections can be optimised by targeting vulnerabilities of antibiotic-resistant pathogens paving the way for more effective treatment strategies. Antibiotic-resistant Pseudomonas infections in cystic fibrosis patients show predictable sensitivities to other classes of antibiotics.

Method prints colours that will not fade

A team of researchers at the Technical University of Denmark has developed a way to print colours onto a surface without using ink and which will not fade. In their paper published in the open-access journal Sciences Advances, the group describes the inspiration for their approach, how it works, their results and the one thing they still need to solve before their technique can be industrialised.

Looking for a greener future with industrial CT
