Power capacitors feature higher energy density

Extending the company's range of EPCOS MKK power capacitors, TDK announce the MKK DCi-R series B25640 with resin impregnation. Based on the proven MKK DC series with gas impregnation and MKK DC-I with oil impregnation, the series includes capacitors that are rated at up to more than 10 000μF and designed for voltages of up to 4000 V DC.

AC/DC power series available in 4 power levels

Available in four power levels between 100W and 600W, the RWS-B series of enclosed AC/DC single output power supplies has been launched by TDK-Lambda. The devices operate from a universal input of 85 - 265Vac (47 - 63Hz) to meet a wide range of applications, including industrial, test & measurement, broadcast, communications and LED signage.

Conduction cooled modules suit HVDC bus applications

Suitable for high input voltages, TDK's PH-A280 series of DC-DC power modules are successors to the existing PH-S280 and PH-F280 series. The product series is half the size of its forerunners with 5% higher efficiency (up to 90%).

LCL filters for recuperative frequency converter systems

TDK presents a new series of EPCOS LCL filters (B84143*405) for recuperative frequency converter systems. These high-performance filters consist of a power choke, a capacitor bank with damping resistors and a robust choke. The corresponding filter circuits attenuate the clock frequencies so greatly that the IEC / TS 62578 recommendations for EMI emissions from 9-150kHz can be satisfied.

Chokes designed for the output side of frequency converters

Boasting current capabilities from 8A to 1500A, the B86301U* series is the latest range of EPCOS motor chokes from TDK. Also known as dv/dt chokes, they are designed for the output side of frequency converters and for a rated voltage of 520V AC.

MEMS microphone provides high SNR of 66dB(A)

Particularly suitable for demanding audio applications in smartphones, TDK has introduced the C928 MEMS microphone. In the frequency range of 20Hz-20kHz, this microphone offers a high SNR of 66dB(A) to improve the audio quality of distant sound sources, i.e. when using the speakerphone or recording video.

A new series of common-mode chokes for automotive Ethernet have today been presented by TDK. Featuring the world’s best common-mode noise suppression, the new ACT45L series has a footprint of just 4.5 mm x 3.2 mm and an insertion height of just 2.8 mm. Smallest common-mode choke for CAN and FlexRay bus systems

The world's smallest with compact dimensions of just 3.2 mm x 2.5 mm x 2.4 mm, TDK introduce the new ACT1210 series of common-mode chokes for both CAN and FlexRay bus systems. Operating over a wide temperature range from -55 °C to +150 °C, the ACT1210 series chokes are qualified to AEC-Q200, making them ideal for use under severe conditions such as those encountered in the engine compartment of a vehicle.

Compact EMC filters with extremely low leakage current

TDK introduces a new series of EPCOS EMC filters. The B84142Ax166 series of 2-line filters features types designed for rated currents of 10 A, 16 A, and 30 A at a rated voltage of 250 V AC (50/60 Hz). TDK extends MMZ portfolio of Gigaspira beads

TDK Corporation has extended its MMZ portfolio of Gigaspira beads with the MMZ1005-V series, which features the world’s highest* impedance peak frequency in the 2.5 GHz range. Miniaturized transponder coil for automotive applications

TDK has expanded its TPL series of transponder coils with a new miniature version that is especially designed for use as an antenna coil in tire pressure monitoring systems for vehicles. Measuring in at just 7.85 mm x 2.70 mm x 2.70 mm the new TDK TPL802727 transponder coil offers the same high level of performance as existing components in the TPL series.
