Varistors offer protection for DC operating voltages

It has been announced that Stackpole's ZV Series of multilayer varistors protect low voltage electronics from high voltage transient surges. The ZV is available in sizes 0603, 0805, 1,206, 1,210, 1,812, and 2,220 in AC operating voltages from two to 130V, DC operating voltages from three to 170V.

Thin film chip resistors designed for high precision applications

  The RNCF Series from Stackpole is a thin film chip resistor series capable of precision. From sizes 0201 up to 2512 the RNCF offers 0.01% tolerances for a wide range of resistance values. The RNCF also offers TCR down to 2ppm for a significant value range for all sizes but the 0201 size.

WW UL94V-0 compliant wirewounds offer wide range of tolerances

The WW Series high temperature silicone coated wirewound resistors meet UL94V-0 flammability requirements. The all welded WW is available in power ratings from 0.5 up to 11W and tolerances from five to 0.1%. Typical TCR for the WW series ranges from 90 ppm or better for resistance values below one ohm to 20ppm or better for values above ten ohms.

  The RPC Series from Stackpole is an anti-surge chip resistor with superior pulse handling performance compared to standard thick film chips. Stackpole has recently added an 0402 chip size rated at 0.2W and featuring values from 1Ω to 1M in tolerances as low as ±0.5% and TCR as low as ±100ppm.

Current sense chips extend values for 0603 and 0805 sizes

Compact SMD 5W current sense resistors

It has been announced that Stackpole's new HCSM2818 is a 5W surface mount part with an all-metal element and moulded construction. The HCSM2818 is available in resistance values of four, five, ten, 15, and 20mΩ in one and five percent tolerances. TCR is 200 ppm for the values below ten milliohm and 75ppm for values of ten milliohm and above.

SMD high current jumpers in sizes from 0402 to 2512

Stackpole's HCJ Series, a surface mount chip jumper, offers current ratings ranging from 14.2amps for the 0402 up to 63.2amps for the HCJ2512. In comparison, the typical rated current for a standard 2512 thick film jumper is 3amps. The HCJ0402 has a maximum resistance of 3mΩ while the other sizes have a maximum resistance of 0.5mΩ. Leaded MOV's designed for overvoltage protection

Stackpole's RV series of radial leaded metal oxide varistors is available in a wide range of disk sizes and working voltages designed for general purpose overvoltage protection. The RV series is UL1449 certified and offers disk sizes from 5 up to 20mm with peak current ratings up to 18,000A and energy handling up to 792J. The RV series offers protection for electronics with operating voltages ranging from 14 to 1,465VDC.

Four terminal shunts for high sensing efficiency

The HCSK Series from Stackpole is a surface mount metal element high current shunt with four terminals. Four terminal Kelvin sense resistors provide accurate sensing as it removes the effect of lead resistance in the sensing function. High voltage axial leaded resistors suitable for aerospace

  The HVAM series of high voltage axial leaded resistors has been released by Stackpole Electronics. The HVAM deposition technology produces a non-inductive resistive element with high stability, low noise and high voltage ratings. Precision tolerances are available down to 0.1% with TCR as low as 50ppm.
