Probe heads offer wafer level chip test alternative

The Volta Series probe heads from Smiths Interconnect are optimised for wafer-level chip-scale package testing. As phones and smart devices get more powerful, so do the integrated chips that support them. Volta is used for testing the chips (while in their wafer form) that are behind everything from Bluetooth and power management to digital display controllers.

DSEI 2017: X-Band surface mount circulators boast low insertion loss

Following initial market adoption and installation Smiths Interconnect is exhibiting its innovative TRAK X-Band Surface Mount (SMT) Circulators at DSEI in London. These units are low-cost, true pick-and-place compatible (tape-and-reel) components with standard solder reflow profiles. They are designed to replace “drop-in” and microstrip style circulators.

The 8835 GPS Clock from TRAK brand boasts extreme power and interoperability options while maintaining GPS accuracy and reliability. While tracking GPS, this click exhibits a frequency accuracy of <1x10-12 and a 1 PPS accuracy with <50nanoseconds, RMS.

Test sockets win Chinese approval
