Sensor designed for angular position sensing in automotive applications
The dual die 360° angle sensor TLE5012BD from Infineon is designed for angular position sensing in automotive applications such as electrical commutated motors, steering angle measurements or general angular sensing. It detects the orientation of a magnetic field by measuring sine and cosine angle components with monolithic integrated Giant Magneto Resistance (iGMR) elements.

Benefitting from the PSI (Power Supply in Inductor) technology the modules achieve a very high efficiency and optimal packaging for thermal management. The high performance, non-isolated Point-of-Load modules SPM 1004, SPM 1005 and SPM 1006 benefit from Sumida's PSI technology: As the maximum amount of magnetic material is used, the coil can use thicker wire for lower resistive losses and higher efficiency.
