LAPIS development board overview

LAPIS Semiconductor, part of the ROHM Group, introduces the LAPIS development board. It features the ML610Q111 and ML610Q112 low power MCUs, and multiple integrated PWM channels, making the board suited for LED lighting control applciations. It also has a Raspberry Pi compatible header and an easy to use PC app for quick development, debugging and prototyping.

5W shunt resistors for automotive current detection

Suited for current detection in applications with increased power requirements, such as automotive systems and industrial equipment, ROHM has announced the development of high power ultra-low-ohmic shunt resistors. The PSR series includes the PSR400, which is rated at 4W, and the PSR500, which is rated up to 5W.

ROHM introduce series of power shunt resistors

ROHM Semiconductor offers the PSR series of power shunt resistors for all types of current sensing applications. They are especially suitable for high current detection circuits. The main features include high power up to 5W, ultra low–ohmic resistance value starting from a minimum of 0.2mΩ and a low TCR (temperature coefficient of resistance).

AC/DC converter IC features integrated PFC control

Integrating Power Factor Correction (PFC) and Quasi-Resonant (QR) controllers into a single package, the BM1C001F is a high-efficiency AC/DC converter from ROHM Semiconductor. Suitable for 100W-class equipment such as TVs and industrial power supplies, ROHM claims that the converter IC is the first to incorporate an ON/OFF setting function and new PFC output control method within the PFC controller.

8bit MCUs with high-accuracy oscillator circuit
