A new power amplifier from ANADIGICS has been released by Richardson RFPD with full design services support. The AWL5911 is an easy-to-use module that delivers high levels of linearity and efficiency for high data rate applications. Designed for the 5 GHz WLAN standards, it supports IEEE 802.11a/n/ac applications.

A new digital phase shifter from Peregrine Semiconductor is available at Richardson RFPD, supported by full design capabilities. The PE44820 is a HaRP technology-enhanced 8-bit digital phase shifter (DPS) that covers a phase range of 358.6 degrees in 1.4 degree steps, maintaining excellent phase and amplitude accuracy across the nominal frequency band of 1.7GHz to 2.2GHz.

Full design support capabilities is on offer from Richardson RFPD for two new high-power receive protection circuit limiters from Qorvo. Using Qorvo’s passive GaAs VPIN technology, the new devices do not require bias and are offered in small plastic overmould packages.

Availability and full design support capabilities are offered by Richardson RFPD to support a GaAs MMIC low-noise, wideband amplifier from Analog Devices.  The HMC753LP4E operates between 1 and 11 GHz, providing up to 16.5 dB of small signal gain, 1.5 dB noise figure, and output IP3 of +30 dBm, while requiring only 55 mA from a +5V supply.

The 700–3800 MHz, UltraCMOS SPDT RF switch from Peregrine Semiconductor is available from distributor Richardson RFPD with full design support capabilities.  The PE42822 is a HaRP technology-enhanced absorptive 50Ω SPDT RF protection switch designed for use in high-power and high-performance wireless infrastructure and small cell applications, supporting frequencies up to 3800 MHz.

Availability and full design support capabilities for a new 2W GaN driver amplifier from Qorvo have been announced by distributor Richardson RFPD.  The TGA2958-SM is a packaged Ku-band amplifier fabricated on Qorvo’s 0.15um GaN on SiC production process (QGaN15). Operating over a 13-18GHz bandwidth, the device delivers 2W of saturated output power with 20dB large signal gain and > 25% power added efficiency.

A new 1700V SiC MOSFET from Wolfspeed is available from distributor Richardson RFPD with full design support capabilities.  The C2M1000170J features high blocking voltage with low RDS(on), low parasitic inductance, ultra-low drain gate capacitance, and a separate driver source pin. It is easy to parallel and simple to drive.

A new pHEMT dual RF amplifier from Qorvo is in stock at distributor Richardson RFPD. The TAT7472A1F is a 75Ω RF amplifier designed for CATV use but capable of operation up to 1218 MHz, making it suitable for DOCSIS 3.1. It contains two separate amplifiers for push-pull applications and is fabricated using 6-inch GaAs pHEMT technology to optimise performance and cost.

A selection of broadband surface mount directional couplers from  Innovative Power Products are now being shipped by distributor Richardson RFPD along with full design support services.  The directional couplers offer low insertion loss, high directivity, low VSWR and high power capability in a small, surface mount package.

A new dual, 14-bit, 500 MSPS analog-to-digital converter from Analog Devices is being shipped by distributor Richardson RFPD with full design support. The AD9684 includes an on-chip buffer and a sample-and-hold circuit designed for low power, small size, and ease of use. The new ADC is specifically designed for sampling wide bandwidth analogue signals.

A new 2W power amplifier from M/A-COM Technology Solutions is now available from Richardson RFPD with full design support capabilities.  The MAAP-011145 is assembled in a 7 mm surface mount, lead-free cavity package with a temperature compensated integrated power detector operating from 17.65 to 19.75GHz.

A new discrete GaN on SiC HEMT from TriQuint / Qorvo is now being shipped by Richardson RFPD with full design support capabilities.  The 30W (P3dB) T2G4003532 operates from DC to 3.5GHz and is constructed with TriQuint’s TQGaN25 production process, which features advanced field plate techniques to optimise power and efficiency at high drain bias operating conditions.

The complete, integrated Qorvo portfolio of products is now available at Richardson RFPD. The distributor's new role follows the merger of TriQuint Semiconductor and RFMD to form Qorvo. A new wideband amplifier from M/A-COM Technology Solutions is in stock at distributor Richardson RFPD along with full design support.  The MAAM-011109-DIE is an easy-to-use, wideband amplifier that operates from DC to 50GHz and features 15dB of gain, +21 dBm P1dB (+15 dBm @ 40 GHz), with 22dB of reverse isolation, 15dB return loss, and OIP3 of +29dBm at 5V/190mA with VG1 = -0.4V.

Three digital step attenuators from Peregrine Semiconductor are available at Richardson RFPD.  The PE43711, PE43712 and PE43713 are 50Ω, HaRP technology-enhanced, 7-bit RF DSAs that support applications from 9 kHz to 6 GHz. They feature glitch-less attenuation state transitions and support 1.8V control voltage and a temperature range to +105°C.

A series of ultra-miniature Oven Controlled crystal Oscillators (OCXOs) from IQD Frequency Products are available at Richardson RFPD with full design support.  The IQOV-162 Series of OCXOs is offered in 14.4x9.5x6.5mm SMD metal can packages. Standard frequencies include 10.0, 12.8, 19.2, 20.0 and 38.88MHz, with either an HCMOS or sinewave output.

A new GPS antenna module sub-system from Maestro Wireless Solutions is available at Richardson RFPD. Two new 200W PIN diode switches from M/A-COM Technology Solutions are on sale at Richardson RFPD.  The MASW-011040 and MASW-011041 are high power PIN diode switches in common anode configurations, operating from 50 MHz to 1 GHz and featuring low insertion loss and excellent linearity.
