Q-Bot is using high-precision Kaydon thin-section bearings from R.A. Rodriguez on the wheel hubs of intelligent mobile robots that spray insulation foam to the underside of suspended floors. With this advanced solution, Q-Bot improves the health of buildings, reduces energy usage and paves the way for a sustainable construction industry. In total, the company uses ten Kaydon bearings per robot.

It has been announced that new from RARUK Automation are two Robotiq innovations designed to make automated and even lights out production even easier. The first, Force Copilot, is an intuitive software development for applications that need force torque feedback and the other is the Hand-E gripper specifically developed for collaborative robots.

Multi-axis machining company, RSM is leveraging the benefits of Universal Robots supplied by RARUK Automation to load and unload its machine tools. A mix of seven UR5 and UR10 robots have helped Rousant Sherwood (RSM) maximise the productivity of its workforce by automating repetitive tasks and allowed the company to bid for contracts which would have otherwise been unprofitable.

At MACH this year, industrial robot specialist, TM Robotics were there to support its new UK distributor, RARUK Automation. Organised by the Manufacturing Technologies Association (MTA), the biennial exhibition is an incredibly popular event for leaders in the UK’s manufacturing sector. The 2016 event was attended by 25,627 visitors over the five days and exhibitors attributed a total of £150m in new business to the show.
