New power supply from PULS UK improves efficiency and reliability of wind turbines

PULS UK has announced the introduction of its PAS395 power supply developed to charge the latest super-capacitors used to power wind turbine pitch control systems. Super-capacitors (electrical double-layer capacitors) are rapidly replacing the lead acid batteries previously used to drive the powerful motors controlling the giant turbine blades.

World’s smallest 40Amp, 3-phase din-rail power supply from PULS UK

Leading power supply manufacturer PULS UK has announced the launch of its latest Q-series unit. The super-compact QT 40 measures only 110 x 124 x 127mm and weighs in at a mere 1.5 kg, making it the smallest 40Amp, 3-phase power supply on the market. First shipments are expected early in 2010.

Bulk Power for Industry from PULS UK

The PULS XT power supply units are semi regulated AC/DC power supplies with a 3 phase input. Unit options allow for either 300- 460Vac or 360- 552Vac input ranges.
