A bus connector, which features with an internal cable clamp that enables a simple and reliable connection and fault-free EMC compliant data transfer, has been released by PROVERTHA. The Special IK connector offers a cable connection with 35° to the D-Sub mating interface. Nine screw terminals enable the universal usage for Modbus, RS 232, RS 422 and RS 485.

Cable connectors with an integrated shield ring have been released by PROVERTHA, expanding its M12 product portfolio. The connectors, which enable RF-tight solutions with 360° shielding, are suitable for cables with a rigid coating, where crimp solutions cannot be used. The connectors' full shielding also makes them suitable for applications with high EMC demands.

Provertha’s new D-Sub connectors are ideally suited for applications demanding small mounting heights on the PCB. The D-Sub Eurostyle connectors are available in male and female versions with 9 to 37 pins and a mounting height of only 3.6 mm. Due to the low mounting height of only 3.6 mm compared to the standard version with 7.3 mm, a typical 19-inch rack can accommodate more plug-in slots at a given front panel width for example.
