Single output power supplies can give up to 400V

Powersolve has just announced a series of high voltage AC-DC, single output power supplies that can provide up to 3000W with output voltages from 150V to 400V. There are five models in the PEK3000HV series all of which feature a full 90-264VAC input range with active PFC and forced current sharing for parallel operation. All five Models in the PEK3000HV series offer single outputs programmable between 0% and 105%.

AC/DC inverters provide up to 4500VA

Power supply specialist Powersolve announces its PJN series of AC/DC sine wave inverters which provide between 1000VA and 4500VA from a DC input between 40 to 60VDC. They also take 230VAC mains input enabling them to operate in a UPS mode and switch over to 48VDC batteries automatically when the incoming mains fails. This make the PJN Series suitable for telecoms systems that use a 230VAC input supply and 48VDC battery back-up.

Powersolve has just announced the EPS series of DC/AC inverters. These are  low cost DC and AC input sine wave inverters featuring an integral battery charger for UPS function. DC input options available are 12V, 24V and 48V. AC input is 175-264VAC and AC output can be ordered set to either 220 or 230VAC.

Low-cost AC inrush current limiter

Powersolve's ESB-101 is a low-cost peak inrush current limiter designed for capacitive loads in a variety of applications across automation systems and machinery. The ESB-101 is available in either 115VAC or 230VAC versions and limits power-up currents and provides continuous operation up to 16A.

Desk-Top back up battery unit powers hubs and routers

Powersolve just introduced desk-top “mini” uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) that provide back-up power in the event of an AC mains failure. The compact PUPS22 & PUPS44 UPS’s works from a 12VDC input using any approved 12V AC-DC plug-top charger capable of powering the load and with enough output power to charge the internal batteries.

Fully encapsulated DC/DC converter modules

The TMDC series is a range of fully encapsulated low profile DC/DC-converter modules just made available by Powersolve. The modules feature ultra-wide input voltage ranges of 9 to 36VDC and 18 to 75VDC and are available with fixed 5.1, 12, 24 and 48 VDC output voltages in 20, 40 or 60W ranges.

Powersolve's NiMH/NiCD smart charger auto detects cells

A smart charger for NiMH and NiCD batteries from Powersolve will auto detect and charge 8 to 15 cells in series and charge them at the correct voltage between 9.6V and 18VDC. The PSCH30 charger operates from a universal 90 to 264VAC and incorporates several safety features including automatic cut-off when the cells are fully charged and battery over-temperature protection using a thermal sensor.

A DC/DC car adaptor from Powersolve provides up to 60W output power with output voltages from 12 to 24VDC. Housed in a fully sealed plastic case, the CE marked Powersolve VDN60 plugs into a standard car cigarette socket to provide users with enough power to charge and run all types of electronic products.

DC/DC converters provide 9W from a SIP-8 package

Powersolve has just introduced what its says is the world’s first SIP-8 packaged DC/DC converter series to provide an isolated and regulated output voltage with up to 9W of output power. Models in the Tracopower TMR9 series are available with 2:1 (TMR 9) or 4:1 (TMR 9WI) input ranges and cover nominal inputs of 12, 24 and 48VDC. Single and dual output voltages of 3.3 to 24VDC are available within the range.

The TMM series of fully encapsulated 24 to 60W AC/DC power supply modules, available from Powersolve, have been designed specifically for medical applications although their EMI/EMC characteristics and safety approval package combine to make the modules suitable for demanding applications in industrial and transportation systems.

Rugged power supplies handle the harshest operating conditions

Designed for applications in harsh environments, particularly those outdoors, the TEX-120 series of ruggedised industrial power supplies has been announced by Powersolve. The TEX120-112 (12V) and TEX120-124 (24V) series provide maximum outputs of 96 and 120W, respectively, and come in a die-cast aluminium housing rated to IP67 and NEMA 4X. This ensures that the power source is impervious to water, ice, oil and dust.
