Low-cost AC inrush current limiter
Powersolve's ESB-101 is a low-cost peak inrush current limiter designed for capacitive loads in a variety of applications across automation systems and machinery. The ESB-101 is available in either 115VAC or 230VAC versions and limits power-up currents and provides continuous operation up to 16A.
Desk-Top back up battery unit powers hubs and routers
Powersolve just introduced desk-top “mini” uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) that provide back-up power in the event of an AC mains failure. The compact PUPS22 & PUPS44 UPS’s works from a 12VDC input using any approved 12V AC-DC plug-top charger capable of powering the load and with enough output power to charge the internal batteries.
DC/AC inverters provide up to 4500VA and feature ECO mode
A series of sine wave DC/AC inverters that provides between 1000 and 4500VA from a DC input between 40 to 60VDC has just been made available by Powersolve. They are ideal for 48VDC – based telecoms systems and meet all relevant safety and EMC standards.
Power supplies for harsh environments
Powersolve has just announced encapsulated AC-DC switch mode power supplies designed specifically for harsh environments. Typically these will include Security, CCTV and LED installations. For maximum applications flexibility, all units can be wall or chassis mounted and can be supplied with a wide variety of input and output cable lengths and connectors to suit the customer’s specific requirements.
12 and 24V Lead Acid battery chargers from Powersolve
Just Announced by Powersolve is the PIN Series of CE marked, 3 stage 12 and 24V Lead Acid battery chargers conveniently packaged in a compact desk-top enclosure (153 x 60 x 36.5mm).
Fully encapsulated DC/DC converter modules
The TMDC series is a range of fully encapsulated low profile DC/DC-converter modules just made available by Powersolve. The modules feature ultra-wide input voltage ranges of 9 to 36VDC and 18 to 75VDC and are available with fixed 5.1, 12, 24 and 48 VDC output voltages in 20, 40 or 60W ranges.
Powersolve's NiMH/NiCD smart charger auto detects cells
A smart charger for NiMH and NiCD batteries from Powersolve will auto detect and charge 8 to 15 cells in series and charge them at the correct voltage between 9.6V and 18VDC. The PSCH30 charger operates from a universal 90 to 264VAC and incorporates several safety features including automatic cut-off when the cells are fully charged and battery over-temperature protection using a thermal sensor.
DC/DC car adaptor provides up to 60W
A DC/DC car adaptor from Powersolve provides up to 60W output power with output voltages from 12 to 24VDC. Housed in a fully sealed plastic case, the CE marked Powersolve VDN60 plugs into a standard car cigarette socket to provide users with enough power to charge and run all types of electronic products.
DC/DC converters provide 9W from a SIP-8 package
Powersolve has just introduced what its says is the world’s first SIP-8 packaged DC/DC converter series to provide an isolated and regulated output voltage with up to 9W of output power.
