Using PXI-based fault insertion & sensor simulation in electronic test
Electronic Control Units (ECUs) are present in many applications today, often used in mission- and safety-critical situations that demand not only high reliability but also high operational predictability.
Reed Relay Selection Made Simple
Sometimes finding the right components for your design can be challenging. That is why Pickering has created an easy-to-use Reed Relay Selector Tool for you to effortlessly find the most suitable relays for your modules. Once you’ve found the right relay, you can then download the datasheet, purchase in-stock items online, or request a quote to find out lead times.
The Highest Power Rated Reed Relay Is Available Now
With a stand-off voltage of up to 8 kV, and capable of 6kV switching at 200W, Series 67 relays are constructed using a lead frame in a Single-in-Line (SIP) format and feature former-less coils which results in a smaller package than is usual for this type of device. Suitable for high voltage, electro solar and cable testing. Free samples are available.
New high-voltage, long-life dry reed relays now rated up to 200W
Pickering Electronics has released another high voltage relay within the unique Series 67 range.
Avoid early relay failures now by understanding hot & cold switching
Watch this short video to learn what hot and cold switching is when using reed relays and the effects different switching methods can have on relay life expectancy. The video, created by Pickering Electronics, also talks about capacitive inrush, another common reason for early relay failure that is easily avoidable. Watch the video now to learn more.
Improve performance & safety without taking up more PCB space
The Pickering Series 104 Reed Relay has remained a top seller for many years and now includes a stand-off of up to 4kV, whilst still stacking on a 0.25” pitch. This improved performance increases high voltage protection margin for added safety. The relays are ideal for mixed signal testing and transformer or cable testing. Free working samples available, enquire now.

Productronica India: Pickering Electronics
Pickering Electronics, the reed relay company which has pioneered miniaturisation and high performance for over 50 years, will showcase its latest range of high coil resistance reed relays for low power consumption; the Series 100HV and Series 100HC at Productronica India 2021 in Hall 3 at Booth C001.
SIL/SIP reed relays handle higher continuous currents
Pickering Electronics has launched the Series 100 HC high power SIL/SIP reed relays that is rated for 1A switching at up to 40W and up to 3A continuous carry current.
Discover the new relays with continuous carry current up to 3 Amps
New 100HC reed relays offer up to 3A continuous carry current and high coil resistances up to 6000Ω. Due to the high power rating of 40W, in many cases these relays may be used as an alternative to mercury wetted relays. Free samples are available for evaluation. Find out more by visiting us at Productronica Germany this November on booth A1.452.
HV SPDT Form C reed relays save space
Pickering Electronics has introduced a new changeover 1 Form C version of its popular Series 67 high voltage PCB reed relay that saves space and makes design simple.
Miniature HV Reed Relay at the Heart of IC Test System
Pickering has announced that it has developed a miniature reed relay for use in a new test rig, designed by globally-renowned chip maker, ON Semiconductor. The new Series 131 deliver a minimum stand-off of 1500V, switching at 1000V, on a footprint of just 12.5mm x 3.7mm. These SPST N.O. relays switch up to 0.7 Amps, 10 Watts with an option of 3V, 5V or 12V coils. Learn more
Pickering miniature HV reed relay for IC test system
Pickering Electronics has announced that it has developed a miniature high voltage relay for use in a new test rig, designed by ON Semiconductor. In switching systems for test and measurement applications, reed relays are often the best solution thanks to their small size, high isolation resistance, hermetically sealed contacts, fast operate time and long-life expectancy.
Small high voltage reed relay in mini SIL/SIP packaging
Pickering Electronics has launched an extremely small high voltage reed relay, housed in the miniature SIL/SIP package, new Series 131 reed relays have a footprint of just 12.5x3.7mm and a height of 6.6mm and deliver a minimum stand-off of 1,500V.
