PEAK electronics, a supplier of DC/DC converters, AC/DC converters, switching regulators, and LED drivers, has added to its portfolio and now also offers its proven switching regulators as open frame versions. The new PSR-78xxC(-OF) series switching regulators have an output current of 500mA and the slightly larger PSR1-78xxC(-OF) versions have an output current of 1000mA.

Additionally offering its proven PMBW and PMB DC/DC converter series with up to 9W of output power, PEAK electronics has increased the components from being previously available with just 1W, 2W, 3W and 6W. In addition, both series of converters are now available in SIP-8 packages, meaning a space saving of almost 50% compared to the DIP-24 packages offered so far.

Expanding its DIP24 packaged DC/DC converter portfolio, PEAK electronics has announced the P34TG which features a 5:1 ultra-wide input. The specially designed railway modules, which will be presented in Hall 3A, Booth 620 at SPS IPC Drives in Nuremberg, 24th to 26th November, are available with input ranges of 13 to 70VDC and 42 to 176VDC.

PEAK electronics has today announced the introduction of the PPM5-SB-xxELF AC-DC converter module, an expansion of the company's PPM SIP series. Available in a 42 x 27 x 11 mm ultra-miniature SIP12 package, the highly-efficient PPM5-SB-xxELF provides 5W, a significant improvement over the previous PPM SIP series offerings of 1.65W to 3W.

The PMT-series P30WG with 30 W and the PMT-series P40WG with 40 W are families of cost effective single and dual output DC-DC modules with a wide input range of 2:1. The input voltage ranges are 9 – 18 V, 18- 36 V and 36 – 72 V. The converters provide regulated output voltages from 3.3 V up to 15 V DC, both for single and dual versions. PEAK electronics has expanded its proven AC-DC power supply series PPM with two new AC-DC converter types PPM50 with 50 W power and PPM40 with 40 W. Dependent on the output voltage, the modules have a high efficiency of up to 84 percent. So far, the PPM series covered a 60 W module and versions with power ratings of 2 W to 20 W.

PEAK electronics offers the isolated PO60HB series of 60 W DC-DC converters. The converters in a compact half-brick format (2.40 x 2.28 x 0.5 inch) are delivered in a five-sided shielded aluminium metal case. The ambient operating temperature range of the converters is from -55°C to +95°C with derating.

PEAK electronics has expanded its proven AC/DC power supplies PPM with power ratings of 2 W to 20 W with one new powerful converter version PPM60 with 60 W. Depending on the type, the PPM60 module delivers an output voltage of 5 V, 9 V, 12 V, 15 V, 24 V and 48 V DC.
