Omeg Push Button Switches

Omeg’s push button switches are available in single and two pole configurations with either a Push On Push Off or Momentary action. With Momentary action switches the circuit is either made or broken only whilst the button is being pushed. Termination options are clamping screw or solder tags. The standard body colour is white and the buttons can be white, cream or luminous. All types are rated at 1A 250V a.c. or 0.5A 250V d.c.

Rotary encoders with illuminated spindles

Omeg has added 12mm rotary encoders to its portfolio to supplement its range of 16 and 20mm potentiometers. Acknowledging the market for standard encoders is already well served, Omeg is targeting the niche market for illuminated spindle encoders. Designated the E12 Series, they are incremental, digital, 24 pulse, rotary types with conductive tracks and clear plastic 18 T splined spindles with LED illumination.

Omeg upgrades its switched potentiometers for PCB mounting with shaft parallel to board

Omeg Ltd has announced the introduction of its new H Series switch modules for 16 & 20 mm potentiometers. They will replace both the 'IL' and 'ECO/IL' switches. The H Series is based on Omeg's Demko certified rotary switch and comprises three models that comply with the established market dimensions for spindle axis height and terminal pin footprint. Models HA and HR fit 16 mm potentiometers and the HS is for 20 mm potentiometers.

Potentiometer and switch combination

Omeg has adapted its 16mm ECO potentiometer to accept its Type IL switch. Previously, Type IL switches were only available with Omeg's metal cap potentiometers. This new development meets a continuing demand for plastic bodied PCB mounting, switched potentiometers where the shaft is parallel to the board.
