Sensors benefit from latest X4 UWB Radar SoC

Novelda has announced two new modules – the X4M300 Presence Sensor for occupancy sensing and the X4M200 Respiration Sensor for non-contact respiration and vital-sign monitoring. Both modules benefit from improvements made by Novelda in the performance, integration and functional capability of its ultra-wideband impulse radar SoC design.

UWB Radar provides a scalable sensor development platform

Novelda announced the XeThru Developer Platform for sensing applications based on its second-generation X4 UWB impulse radar SoC. With this technology, OEMs and system developers can easily implement sophisticated sensors that can detect small movements, determine presence and room occupancy, and monitor respiration and other human vital signs with unprecedented accuracy and discrimination.

Novelda appoints Cornelia Mender as its CEO

Novelda announced a further $12M funding round to take its XeThru vital signs and true presence sensors into high volume production. 
Novelda is providing advanced contactless sensor technology for a range of vital signs applications including: baby monitors, sleep monitoring systems, respiration rate monitors, elderly care, and similar fitness, health, welfare and lifestyle products.
