NGK INSULATORS has received an order for NAS batteries for electrical power storage intended as those for an energy storage facility from SALA ENERGY, which is a subsidiary of SALA Corporation engaged in the energy business.

NGK INSULATORS (NGK) announces that it has received an order for NAS batteries for storing electric energy from the Centre for Energy Research of Hungary through Duna Center Therm Uzemi Szolgaltato Kft, a Hungarian engineering company.

NGK has announced that it has further developed its collaboration with Energous and e-peas to spread the use of Wireless Power Transmission/Transfer (WPT) systems. NGK will support the development of edge device manufacturers and others who work on WPT systems by developing and providing IoT devices that combine NGK’s lithium-ion rechargeable battery “EnerCera” with the technology of Energous and e-peas.

For the electronica virtual show, variety of EnerCera battery sizes will be on display. The EnerCera battery is a compact, thin, high energy density, high power lithium-ion rechargeable battery with high heat resistance characteristics.

NGK Insulators has announced that it will exhibit a maintenance-free small power source module for IoT devices at CES 2020 jointly with TOREX SEMICONDUCTOR. This power source module has combined the EnerCera series and TOREX’s power source IC. CES 2020 will be held from January 7th to 10th, 2020 in Las Vegas.
