Portable LR8450-01 data logger with wireless sampling

Readings from sensor modules can be logged at sampling rates of up to 1ms with the new portable data loggers from HIOKI. Available from MDL Technologies, the LR8450-01 Memory HiLogger can host up to 11 plug-in and wireless modules to record as many as 330 channels simultaneously.

Sensors read CAN bus signals without the need to strip cables

Signals can be reliably read from CAN bus cables without the need for bare wire connections with the new HIOKI sensors now available from MDL Technologies. In the development and verification of CAN bus systems, engineers will be familiar with the problem that when measuring CAN bus signals part of the cable insulation must be removed to directly probe the bare wiring.

Electronic loads offer advanced and economical power supply testing

Enabling simple and economical testing of a wide range of power supplies, on-board chargers, batteries and other power electronics components, the new 63200E series high power DC electronic loads has been launched by Chroma. Available from MDL Technologies, the programmable loads offer market leading accuracies of up to 0.02% + 0.02% FS for voltage and 0.1% + 0.1% FS for current.

Five in one scope moves into distribution channel

The new Scope Rider from Rohde & Schwarz is a portable digital oscilloscope with the capabilities of a laboratory instrument is available from distributor MDL Technologies. It has an acquisition rate of 50 000 waveforms per second, a 10 bit A/D converter and a maximum bandwidth of 500MHz for the analogue input channels.

Load simulator designed to test LED power drivers

An extensive range of equipment for testing LED drivers is now available from MDL Technologies. The Chroma instruments include programmable AC and DC sources, high precision power meters and an LED load simulator specifically designed for LED power drivers. The 61500 Series advanced programmable AC power sources have output powers ranging from 500 to 2000 VA and offer AC, DC and AC+DC output modes.
