Provider of globally-deployed innovative test solutions for military, aerospace, and manufacturing organisations, Marvin Test Solutions, has announced the release of a new semiconductor test subsystem aimed at extending the life of legacy semiconductor testers. The MTEK Subsystem (Marvin Test Expansion Kit) adds test capabilities to legacy semiconductor test systems that lack the ability to meet the test requirements of current devices.

An extensive range of maintenance and test solutions will be demonstrated by Marvin Test Solutions at the 2017 International Paris Air Show (June 19-25). Featured products at this year’s event include the Hellfire Scalable-Rail Launcher (HSRL) which provides single- and multi-rail launch capability for AGM-114 missiles without the need for external electronics or AC power.

  Marvin Test Solutions has announced that its MTS-3060 SmartCan Universal O-Level Test Set has been selected by the Israeli Air Force to support all of the armament systems on F-16 and F-15 aircraft. The contract includes test sets for F-16 and F-15 as well as spares and training, and is scheduled for completion in 2018.

The Indonesian Air Force has selected the MTS-206A Maverick Field Test Set and MTS-916-3 Modular Target Simulator from Marvin Test Solutions, a provider of globally deployed test solutions for military, aerospace and manufacturing organisations to support testing of AGM-65 (Maverick) missile and launcher systems, as part of an FMS (Foreign Military Sale) contract.

As part of the support package for a group of T-50TH aircraft purchased by the Thai Air Force in 2015, Marvin Test Solutions’ MTS-209 Common Armament Test Set has been selected by Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) and slated for delivery in the next 24 months. The new aircraft will replace ageing L-39 Albatros trainers.

The GENASYS high-performance mixed-signal test system platform from Marvin Test Solutions has been selected to assure mission readiness of audio, video, and communications systems and other critical electronics for state-of-the-art armored infantry vehicles for an international military customer. 

The TS-960 Semiconductor Test Platform will be the feature product for Marvin Test Systems at the SEMICON West exhibition in San Francisco (July 11-17). The TS-960 platform features a 20-slot, 3U PXI chassis accommodating up to 512 125MHz digital I/O channels with PMUs per pin, yet has a small footprint and modular structure, allowing users to address a range of test applications.

Two new products have been added to the GENASYS functional test platform by Marvin Test Systems (MTS). Building on the performance architecture of the GENASYS switching subsystem, MTS has added the GX7017 Integrated GENASYS Chassis to the GENASYS product line providing digital, analogue and high performance switching capability within a single, compact, 6U PXI chassis footprint.

An Asian country is to use Marvin Test Solutions’ MTS-3060 SmartCan system to support flightline armament test of the F-16, TA-50, and Hawk aircraft. The system will be exhibited at along with other armament test solutions at the Singapore Airshow (Feb 16-21). While 4th and 5th generation aircraft have received numerous upgrades to avionics and armament systems, maintainers typically still use legacy, hand-held flightline test sets.  ...
