The new ISO-Spector from Mek (Marantz Electronics) offers true measurement for across-the-board inspection of components and solder joints. Unlike other methods of height measurement, ISO-Spector technology enables inspection of heights up to 30 mm (1.2in).

The iSpector desktop AOI from Marantz Electronics has been designed as an entry-level system for customers with low volume, high mix production requiring AOI with a low price tag. It provides benchtop PCB inspection with what the company says is exceptional defect coverage.
