DBx module for programmable DC power supplies

Magna-Power Electronics has introduced the DBx Module for its MagnaDC programmable DC power supplies, bringing high performance to nearly all models and product series, from 1.5 kW to 3,000 kW. The DBx Module, combined with MagnaDC power supplies, delivers ultra-high stability, low ripple, high precision, and high accuracy, with voltage, current, and power control modes.

Programmable DC power supplies upgraded to 25kW in 4U

A major upgrade to Magna-Power Electronics’ popular rack-mount TS Series MagnaDC programmable DC power supply line, has been announced with 102 new models providing up to 25kW in 4U (7.0” height) and 50kW in 8U (14.0” height). The TS Series, with its rugged current-fed power processing topology combined with advanced microprocessor control, provides performance and functionality to address applications.

1MW water cooled DC electronic load delivered to the US Navy

Programmable power products provider, Magna-Power Electronics, has announced the delivery of a 1MW water cooled DC electronic load to the US Navy, which will be used to research, develop, test, and evaluate the operation of Energy Storage Modules (ESMs) in a shipboard environment.

New power models expanded to 8kW in 1U

Magna-Power Electronics has increased the power capability of its popular 1U (1.75” high) SL Series to 8 kW with the addition of 17 new models. The new 8kW models further extend the SL Series lead for the most programmable power in 1U within its product class. The SL Series now spans 99 models from 1.5-8kW, from 5Vdc to 1000Vdc, and from 1.5Adc to 250Adc.

Software calculates array voltage for PV connected electronics

Photovoltaic Power Profile Emulation (PPPE) software automatically calculates solar array voltage and current profiles based on user-defined parameters. The profiles can be sequentially sent to a Magna-Power Electronics power supply, which will emulate defined characteristics. The user can define a limitless number of profiles to be emulated and sequenced over a given time period.

DC electronic loads span to 120kW+

Magna-Power Electronics has released its MagnaLOAD product line of DC electronic loads spanning 1.25 to 120kW+. The product line includes three product series, ALx series, ARx series and WRx series spanning 39 air- and water-cooled models from 1.25 to 120kW+ with voltage ranges up to 0-1,000VDC and current ranges up to 0-1,200ADC.
