Debug support announced for µCLinux on Cortex-M3/M4

µCLinux on Cortex-M3/M4 microprocessors is now supported by Lauterbach's TRACE32 tools. The TRACE32 tools also enable the off-chip trace for Cortex-M to be extended from DWT (Data Watchpoint and Trace Unit) into a task-aware trace, which allows non-intrusive runtime and performance evaluation.

Embedded development kit supports Xilinx processor core

Lauterbach has announced its support for the latest version of MicroBlaze 8.50.c introduced by Xilinx with EDK 14.7. MicroBlaze is a soft processor core designed for Xilinx FPGAs from Xilinx. It is a 32-bit RISC Harvard architecture soft processor core that is included free with both Vivado Design Edition and IDS Embedded Edition.

This one-day event will be run in Bristol, Cambridge, Manchester and Scotland during May 2014, and will provide half-day technology workshops, technical presentations and an exhibition.
