KIC has announced that it will exhibit in Hall 7a, Booth 321, at SMT Hybrid Packaging, scheduled to take place 5th to 7th May 2015 in Nuremberg, Germany. The KIC RPI brings process and deficiency information to the thermal process that was previously limited to screen printing and pick-and-place machines.

  KIC has announced that it will showcase the KIC Auto-Focus Power in Booth 3032 at the IPC APEX EXPO, scheduled to take place 24th to 26th February 2015, at the San Diego Convention Centre, California.

KIC will showcase the affordable and easy-to-use ProBot automatic profiling system at the SMTA Intermountain (Utah) Expo & Tech Forum (Oct 23) at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, UT. The ProBot automatically measures the profile for each PCB and verifies whether each PCB is processed to specification in the reflow oven.

In Booth #439 at SMTA International 2014, visitors will be able to see KIC's ProBot automatic profiling system and K2 profile setter. Complementing AOI inspection, the ProBot automatically measures the profile for each PCB and verifies whether each PCB is processed to specification in the reflow oven. The system then allows for suspect PCBs to be identified and isolated.

KIC launched its new thermal profiler, the K2 at NEPCON China (April 23-25) in Shanghai.  The K2 builds on KIC’s compact and robust hardware that measures profiles accurately, even in harsh environments. The plug-and-play hardware and graphical user interface makes profiling both quick and easy.

The SlimKIC 2000 and KIC Explorer lines, from KIC, have been discontinued and will no longer be available for sale. The SlimKIC 2000 and KIC Explorer profilers will be replaced with the new K2profile setter, which enables profile viewing on mobile Android and Apple devices.

KIC will exhibit in Booth #7-419 at the SMT/Hybrid/Packaging 2013 exhibition and conference, scheduled to take place April 16-18, 2013 at the Messezentrum in Nuremberg, Germany. The KIC RPI helps manage reflow ovens to consistently maximize the desired results.

The ProBot automatically verifies whether each PCB is processed to specification in the reflow oven.

KIC announces the launch of its KICstart2, a new generation data acquisition profiler. The compact and cost effective profiler takes advantage of KIC’s easy-to-use graphical user interface. The KICstart2 is designed for those companies looking to quickly capture an accurate profile without all of the additional capabilities to optimize the process.

KIC today announced that the new ProBot will begin shipping effective October 2012. The ProBot automatically verifies whether each PCB is processed to specification in the reflow oven. The suspect PCBs then can be sent off to batch X-ray.

Effective September 1, 2012, KIC expanded its presence in Mexico in order to improve the services available to its customers. In the past, KIC customers in Mexico sent their KIC products to the United States for repair; however, now they can send their profilers and other KIC equipment to Guadalajara, JAL for repair or calibration.

KIC introduces the new X5 Profiler, redefining what a data intelligence profiler can and should do. As opposed to the low-cost data aquisition profilers that focus purely on recording a product profile, a data intelligence profiler takes the additional active role of suggesting new oven setup in order to optimize the thermal process.

KIC introduces the new KIC 24/7 Wave, using embedded sensors in the wave solder machine to automatically measure the thermal profile for each and every processed PCB to the acceptable process window. A thermocouple also is installed in the solder pot to constantly measure the pot temperature.

KIC will hold a Defect Solution Clinic Booth #2428 at the upcoming IPC APEX Expo, scheduled to take place February 28-March 1, 2012 at the San Diego Convention Center in California. Dr. S. Manian Ramkumar, Ph.D. will be in the KIC booth on Tuesday, February 28th and Wednesday, February 29th from 2-4 p.m.
