250V solid state relay provides best performance, size and price

A wholly owned subsidiary of IXYS Corporation, IXYS Integrated Circuits Division (ICD) has announced the immediate availability of the CPC1010N, 250V, single-pole, normally open (1-Form-A) Solid State Relay (SSR) with a 170mA load current rating. The CPC1010N is specially designed to provide the best combination of performance, size and price.

High current rectifier diodes feature increased power rating

IXYS has announced that its wholly owned UK subsidiary, IXYS UK Westcode, has added three new voltage classes to its range of 83mm die, pressure contact rectifier diodes. The new introductions are at 1.5kV, 4.0kV and 4.8kV and complement the parts at 2.2kV and 6.0kV already introduced.

5W solar charger powers iPhone 5 in 1.5-2 hours

3.6kV phase control thyristors offer increased current rating

IXYS' UK branch has introduced a 3.6kV pressure contact phase control thyristor with increased power density. The improved design offers an increase of up to 52% in average current rating over established designs, whilst retaining overall package footprint. The improvement in performance is achieved with a combination of maximised die size and an improved package design.

Power MOSFETs allow in-parallel operation for simplicity

IXYS has announced an expansion of its high voltage Power MOSFET product portfolio, the 2000V N-Channel Power MOSFETs. With a current rating of 1A, they are specifically designed for high voltage, high speed power conversion applications. Due to their positive temperature coefficient of RDS(ON), the high voltage power MOSFETs can be operated in parallel.
