The world’s smallest 9-axis solution, the MPU-9350 combines an accelerometer, gyroscope, and electronic compass into a 3x3x1mm QFN package. At 6.7mW, the MPU-9350 has 28% lower power consumption than its predecessor and comes with the industry’s only integrated Digital Motion Processor.

World's Smallest Dual-Axis Gyroscopes For Smartphone Image Stabilization

InvenSense has today announced the introduction of two new dual-axis Optical Image Stabilization gyroscopes, the IDG-2030 and IXZ-2030. OIS eliminates the effects of hand jitter to achieve blur free images and jitter free HD video. The benefits of OIS are most evident in low light conditions where longer exposure times are required.

InvenSense has today revealed that its MEMS Gyroscope product is being used in the world’s first motion-activated screwdriver, that controls variable speed and direction, and was announced today by Black & Decker. Black & Decker selected InvenSense for its GYRO 4V MAX Lithium-ion Rechargeable Screwdriver.
