Regulators offer 96% efficiency for battery-powered systems
Expanding the company's buck-boost family, Intersil has announced two buck-boost regulators claimed to offer best-in-class efficiency up to 96%. The ISL91127 and ISL91128 feature 4.5A switches and a compact footprint suited for providing system power or powering the peripherals in battery-operated devices. According to Intersil, the devices offer the industry’s lowest quiescent current of 30µA for superior light load efficiency.

The ISL78365 pulses four high intensity lasers up to 750mA for automotive HUD systems. Intersil has introduced what is claimed to be the industry’s first radiation tolerant 3.3V CAN transceivers that are fully QML-V qualified and compliant with the ISO11898-2 physical layer standard. The three ISL7202xSEH CAN transceivers provide reliable serial data transmission between a CAN controller and CAN bus at speeds up to 1Mb/s.
