IAR Systems has announced the launch of IAR KickStart Kit for ColdFire. The starter kit provides everything that a developer needs to begin developing a system on a Freescale ColdFire microcontroller, straight from the box. At the same time IAR Embedded Workbench for ColdFire is being upgraded to Version 1.20.

The latest IAR KickStart Kit provides professional users of the Atmel AVR32 UC Core with everything they need to begin a development project. The kit comprises an EVK1100 development board from Atmel, a 32kB code-limited edition of IAR Embedded Workbench for AVR32, and an optional JTAGICE MKII debug probe from Atmel.
