HyperloopTT and Forest Road, a publicly traded special purpose acquisition company, have entered into a definitive merger agreement that is expected to result in HyperloopTT becoming a publicly listed company.

Hitachi Rail and HyperloopTT have achieved an important milestone towards the commercial running of the innovative system – that will be able to run at speeds of up to 1,200km/h – with the completion of proof of concept for a cloud-based ERTMS signalling system for HyperloopTT’s capsules.

HyperloopTT has announced a financial investment from Thornton Tomasetti, a leading global scientific and engineering consulting firm that provides specialized safety, security and risk management services.
