Hitaltech hopes that its Conex-it range of wire to board interconnect products will continue to be the first choice for manufacturers of white goods, automotive, industrial control and energy metering systems (amongst many others). Now, the company is adding a whole new element to its Conex-it range.

Manufacturer of connecting technologies and enclosures, Hitaltech, is set to return to this year's Engineering Design Show (EDS), from 17th to 18th October, located at the Ricoh Arena Coventry, marking the fourth time the company has been part of the event.

During recent years, industrial control applications have seen a gradual increase in the adoption of embedded ARM Boards. This is a trend which continues to grow and as a result embedded boards such as the Raspberry PI, Beaglebone and Arduino are being more commonly considered for use in industrial applications.

Hitaltech’s range of IP rated enclosures aims to meet the requirements of engineers when designing an electronic or electrical system. Hitaltech understands that there are a number of factors which need to be taken into account when selecting an enclosure for an application. This is true whether the enclosure is DIN rail mounting, hand held or sealed.

These series feature two rows on a 3.5mm pitch therefore allowing for double the amount of connection points and saving space on the PCB. Available from 2*2 to 2*24 poles with ratings of 7A & 300V, the HMSI header is available in either vertical or horizontal connection. This double row header can be supplied closed ended (whilst remaining side stackable) or open ended.

Hitaltech announced the introduction of a range of Cable Glands and Accessories to complement its existing range of IP rated enclosures.
