According to European Semiconductor Industry Association (ESIA), worldwide semiconductor sales in June 2015 amounted to $27.993bn. The report is based on the latest sales data released by WSTS. The worldwide sales figure represents a 0.4% decrease from May. In Europe, semiconductor sales followed a similar pattern: in June sales amounted to $2.826bn, down 1.7% from May. All growth figures represent a three month rolling average.

The World Trade Organization (WTO) members involved in the Information Technology Agreement (ITA) expansion achieved a major break through on the 24th of July. The deal reached will eliminate future customs duties on 201 high-tech products, including semiconductors such as MCOs.

 European semiconductor sales reached $2.873bn in May 2015, reported the European Semiconductor Industry Association (ESIA) on the basis of the latest WSTS data. 

The World Semiconductor Trade Statistics (WSTS) anticipates the world semiconductor market to show a moderate growth of 3.4% to $347bn in 2015, driven by all major product categories. The highest growth rates are expected for the optoelectronics and analogue category, with rates of 8.3% and 5.6%, respectively. 

Semiconductor sales in Europe in April 2015 amounted to $2.889bn, the European Semiconductor Industry Association reported on 1st June 2015, on the basis of the latest WSTS data. The figure reflects a slight decline in sales compared to the previous month, in line with sales developments in the other regions, with the exception of Asia-Pacific.

The European Semiconductor Industry Association (ESIA) has reported that semiconductor sales in Europe in March 2015 amounted to $2.954bn, an increase of 2.7% from the February sales. The report, indicating continued strength of the European semiconductor market, is based on the latest sales data released by WSTS.
