EMS doubles SMT manufacturing line

Electronic Manufacturing Solutions (EMS) recently installed its second SMT line from Essemtec. The SMT line consists of a Tucano screen printer, Paraquda SMT machine with Jet valve dispenser, conveyors and an upgraded Zonda oven. EMS is also upgrading its original RO400FC reflow oven to a Zonda, resulting in two identical lines for the company, allowing production to be doubled.

Essemtec announces next-generation storage tower

At SMT 2014 in Nuremberg, Essemtec has introduced its next-generation storage tower, CUBUS. It features user-adjustable shelves that can be varied in 5 mm steps and are auto-configured. Thus reels in the range of 8-72mm are easily accommodated. The shelves occupy either two small 7" reels or one 13 or 15" reel, further optimising packing density without compromising flexibility. It can store 5-6 reels per minute.

Essemtec introduces storage solution at SMT

At SMT Hybrid Packaging 2014, 6-8 May 2014 in Nuremberg, Germany, Essemtec will introduce its next-generation storage tower, CUBUS. This storage system has user-adjustable shelves that can be varied in 5mm steps and are auto-configured. This enables 8-72mm reels to be easily accommodated.

Easy programming for small batch/prototype assembly

Offering precise placement of all SMD components from 01005 up to large and complex components on a single machine, the Paraquda2 has been announced by Essemtec. Multi-functional SMT Center awarded NPI Award

At the 2014 NPI Awards, in the category of Component Placement – Multi-function, Essemtec took home the award for its multi-functional SMT Center. The award was presented to the company during a Tuesday, March 25, 2014 ceremony that took place at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center during the IPC APEX EXPO.

SMT pick-and-place system to be exhibited at Automaticon 2014

At the upcoming AUTOMATICON exhibition, taking place March 25 - 28 in Warsaw,Essemtec Poland will exhibit its Pantera XVC entry level SMT pick-and-place system in booth B28, hall 1. The Pantera-XVC, an entry level SMT pick-and-place system that ideally meets the standards of a high-mix/low-volume production.

Pick and place machine integrates solder paste jetter

Jet printing is faster (up to 80'000 dots/h) and more precise than any other dispensing system for solder pastes. So far, jetting of pastes has only been possible with specially designed, costly solder pastes. The new system from Essemtec opens the range of pastes to most type 4, 5, 6 or 7 pastes.
