Full-brick DC/DC converter offers efficiency levels in excess of 94%
Ericsson Power Modules’ latest DC/DC converter platform, the PKY4716PI, utilizes the industry standard full-brick format and footprint, making it an excellent drop-in replacement for enhanced performance. The device, aimed at the telecoms market and customers developing base transceiver stations in cellular radio networks where high efficiency and reliability are required, is also ideal for many industrial applications.
Dual output DC/DC converters power telecom and datacom transmission systems
Expanding its MacroDens portfolio of DC/DC modules, Ericsson Power Modules has released three PKR modules aimed primarily at powering telecom and datacom transmission systems requiring floating dual outputs, such as line cards and optical transmitters. Similarly, the PKR will also power a wide range of applications in instrumentation and process control that use analogue logic and communication chipsets. With their floating design, the devices’...
DC/DC converters suit radio frequency power amplifier applications
Bringing higher power to its PKJ 4000 series of DC/DC converters, Ericsson Power Modules’ PKJ 4316 API is rated at 350W. The fully featured converter offers designers high quality and a cost-effective solution for demanding radio frequency power amplifier (RFPA) applications.
Quarter brick DC/DC modules from Ericsson offer extra output voltage ranges
Expanding its PKM-E series of DC/DC modules, Ericsson Power Modules has introduced a further three models that provide extra output voltage ranges, more current, and more power for telecom and data equipment vendors operating in the areas of distributed power architecture, wireless networks, enterprise networks, access and optical networks, industrial, and the latest generation of ICs.
Small switching POL regulators
Expanding its point of load (POL) range of DC/DC regulators, Ericsson Power Modules has introduced two POLA devices that are amongst the smallest switching POL regulators available, and provide high efficiency and a host of features for ‘real needs’ applications at low cost.
