Electrolube up 29% for first half 2017

Electro-chemicals specialist Electrolube has seen a 29% increase in turnover in the first six months of the year. What the company describes as a “powerful” global performance has been delivered across all territories, particularly Electrolube’s Chinese operation. The companies’ increased investment for the new manufacturing facility in Bangalore, India has also produced significant benefits.

Protection solutions at productronica India 2017

Aromatic free acrylic coatings

Electrolube has complemented its Aromatic Free Acrylic Coating range with a range extension, entitled AFA-G. The new addition is deliberately more viscous than a standard coating, designed for use as a permanent masking or damming material, either preventing capillary action around components such as connectors, or as a mask between the ‘coat` and ‘no-coat` areas of the PCB.

Demand is rising for PCB cleaning solution

Designed for cleaning printed circuit boards, Safewash Total (SWAT) from Electrolube, is growing in popularity in military and commercial applications and is well suited for the removal of leaded, lead-free and no-clean flux residues. The cleaner is also suitable for the removal of pastes and adhesives from screens, stencils, boards and accessories as well as general degreasing applications.

Electrolube debut coatings & resins at electronica 2014

At electronica 2014, last week, Electrolube exhibited for the first time. In Hall A6, which was dedicated to the automotive sector, the company presented its conformal coatings, resins and contact lubricant products. Hall B1 was dedicated to sensors, micro- and nano-systems, MEMS technologies and electromechanical/system peripherals, where Electrolube demonstrated its capabilities in thermal management.

Resin protects sensor designed for hazardous locations

The UR5604 polyurethane resin, manufactured by Electrolube, has been chosen for use with a sensor designed for hazardous locations. The sensor's electronics, which are in the form of a PCB, needed to be protected from adverse atmospheric conditions but also meet the requirements of the hazardous location.
