Omnipolar Hall switches from Diodes Inc
Diodes Incorporated has introduced two low voltage Omnipolar parts that substantially reduce power consumption in battery-powered, hand-held devices and dramatically simplify production processes. Uses include contact-less lid or display orientation and position detection tasks in notebooks, mobile phones, digital still cameras and camcorders.
Diodes to demonstrate cutting edge audio applications at Consumer Electronics Show
Networked audio reproduction and active loudspeakers are just two of the application areas featuring in a comprehensive ‘proof of concept’ showcase for the Zetex Direct Digital Feedback Amplifier (DDFA) technology at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show.
Self protected MOSFET from Diodes Inc
Adding to its IntelliFET product range, Diodes Incorporated has introduced what it says is the world’s smallest fully self protected low side MOSFET. Packaged in the 2.3mm x 2.8mm footprint ‘flat’ SOT23F package, the ZXMS6004FF takes 85% less board space than incumbent 7.3mm x 6.7mm footprint SOT223 packaged parts.
Smart motor controller provides all-in-one solution
Diodes Incorporated has introduced a single chip solution providing all the functionality required for driving low power single coil brushless DC fans and motors. The AH5792 integrates a Hall sensor and amplifier, complete digital control circuitry and a full bridge output driver in the low profile SOT553 package and will appeal in particular to low voltage micro-motors and ultra thin cooling fan applications.
Diodes Incorporated wins Environmental Award
Diodes Incorporated won the Environmental Award at the annual Elektra Awards held in Munich on the eve of Electronica 2008. Now in their sixth year, the Elektra Awards are regarded as the most prestigious electronic product, technology and business awards in Europe and recognise the achievements of individuals and companies throughout the European Electronics industry.
Diodes Incorporated wins low power design award
Diodes Incorporated has won the National Microelectronics Institute’s Low Power “Green” Design Award for 2008. In its inaugural year, the award sponsored by Synopsys, was made to Diodes for its ZXGD3101T8 MOSFET rectifier controller.
Power MOSFETs optimised for low voltage operation
Diodes Incorporated has announced an expansion of its power MOSFET product range with the introduction of new devices suitable for load and switching functions in a variety of consumer, communication, computing and industrial applications. Covering both its Diodes and Zetex product lines, the additions include twenty seven 30V logic level and nine 20V low threshold N, P and complementary MOSFETs in a choice of industry standard packages.
