Chipworks Partners with Elysium Digital LLC

Chipworks announced a partnership with Elysium Digital, LLC at the Licensing Executive Society annual general meeting in San Diego. Chipworks’ Teardown of the iPad Reveals Few Changes in State-of-the-art Semiconductor Technologies

Chipworks announced today its findings that Apple has followed the same approach that it perfected with its iPod and iPhone development by using conservative, lower cost technology, and focusing its efforts on design and usability. Essentially, the iPad’s very small board makes it a large iPod rather than a small personal computer.
