It has been announced that AVX is now qualified to produce and supply MIL-PRF-123 capacitors at its corporate headquarters in South Carolina. Furthermore AVX has had its M123 Series ceramic chip capacitors added to the Defense Logistics Agency’s (DLA’s) Qualified Parts List for MIL-PRF-123.

An industrial poke-home connector available without a wire stop has been released by AVX. The 2.5mm poke-home contact - the latest addition to its 70-9296 Series STRIPT insulator-less, single-position, horizontal, poke-home contacts - combines a low profile with a range of compatible wire gauges: 20-26AWG solid and stranded wire, and offers variants both with and without a wire stop.

Designed for use at 230°C, the TWA-X Series wet electrolytic tantalum capacitors feature a high-capacitance cathode system that achieves high CV performance in standard case sizes and a hermetically sealed, welded tantalum can and header assembly that provides robust resistance against mechanical shock and high-frequency vibration.

Insulation displacement connectors with a 2.55mm profile

AVX has released the 9176-800 Series low-profile insulation displacement connectors (IDCs), which reduce the Z-axis height of the next-lowest-profile insulated IDC connector, the 9176-400 Series, by 1mm, reduce the total overall volume of the Standard 00-9176 Series IDCs by more than 50%, and are the first industrial IDCs available in a 2.55mm profile.
