The DG series of glass-encapsulated thermistors from Ametherm for high-accuracy temperature sensing in automotive and industrial applications is now in stock at Digi-Key. Thermistor delivers up to 4.0A and energy ratings to 50 J

Ametherm just announced a circuit protection thermistor that is said to offer the industry's smallest diameter for a UL-approved device with a maximum continuous current rating of 4.0 A and energy rating of 50 J. Previously, designers had to rely on devices with larger diameters of 22.0 mm to achieve the high current and energy ratings of the new SL15 60004.

Circuit protection thermistor delivers current up to 6A

A new circuit protection thermistor has been announced by Ametherm that offers what it claims to be the industry's smallest diameter for a UL-approved device with a maximum continuous current rating of 6.0A and energy rating of 40J. Previously, designers had to rely on devices with larger diameters from 15-25mm to achieve the high current and energy ratings of the new SL12 10006.

Circuit protection thermistor conserves power

A new UL-approved circuit protection thermistor has been released by Ametherm that helps to conserve power, save space, and lower costs for a wide variety of applications with hot resistance, current handling and energy ratings. The company claims that the SL32 0R230 is the only UL-approved circuit protection thermistor on the market with a maximum continuous current rating of 30A and 'hot' resistance on the order of just 6mΩ.

Thermistor sampling kits include four probe assembly types

Sample kits of Ametherm's inrush current limiters and NTC sensing thermistors are now available from distributor Mouser Electronics. Mouser is stocking Ametherm's Standard, Mega, Mini, and Sensor Sample Kits. Ametherm's Standard Sample Kit consists of nine 120VAC and 240VAC inrush current limiters from the company's SL series.

277V thermistor suits LED, PFC & UPS applications
