Amplicon have today announced that the popular Intel ATOM-based Senses 5200S panel PCs have been given a free memory upgrade, contributing to better performance for industrial applications. Built on the Intel ATOM architecture, the Amplicon Senses 5200S can complete complex tasks whilst consuming a fraction of the power used by desktop class systems.
Capable of housing a 2.5” hard disk or solid-state drive, the Senses 5200S panel PCs are fitted as standard with 2GB memory. Designed for harsh environments, these panel PCs feature a rugged IP65 aluminium front bezel and protective glass screen.

While offering a sleek and polished appearance, the Senses 5200S series retains the required industrial functionality needed for harsh environments. The Senses 5200S series can be supplied with optional mounting kits for panel, wall, or VESA mount, and is available in 10”, 12”,and 15” LCD displays with 5-wire resistive touch screen.

The Amplicon Senses 5200S series can be tailored to your application needs, offering support for Microsoft Windows and Linux based operating systems.

“This memory upgrade demonstrates our drive to ensure that our Panel PC’s offer the best value in the market place,” commented Gavin Chalkley, Amplicon’s Industrial computing specialist.
