The Android-based RTC-700A 7” rugged tablet provides six to eight hours of battery life, WXGA high resolution TFT LCD display with anti-scratch Gorilla™ glass, and a 10-points Projected Capacitive Multi-Touch Panel for best viewing and operating experience. It also features an NVIDIA TEGRA 2, 1.0GHz dual core processor, which allows for a myriad of multimedia-rich applications and features. The RTC-700A is IP65 rated for ingress protection, making it fully resistant to dust and water. It is MIL-STD-810G compliant from vibration, shock and four-foot drops, with extreme operating temperature range of -20℃ - +60℃. Equipped with a G-sensor, 3-axis digital gyroscope, vibrator motor, light sensor, E-compass and GPS navigation, front and rear camera and micro SD card slot, a great number of applications can be realized when applied with different software applications.

“The RTC-700A is perfect for outdoor use, with its stronger mechanical design, high luminance up to 600 cd/m2, complete wireless options, and a battery life of up to eight hours per charge,” said Jason Huang, Senior Manager of AAEON’s Rugged Mobile Division. “Customization services to adapt the RTC-700A to be used with a cradle for long-haul vehicles and dispatch units or for military operations are available upon request,” Jason adds.

Robust connectivity options include 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth™ 2.1+ EDR, 3G, and LTE. Secure wireless communication for data retrieval, signatures and classified data transmission can be enabled through software means. These benefits make it much easier for workers and professionals to complete their jobs in demanding environments whether indoors or out.
