embedded-logic released the new PB-ATOM-L+N455/D425/D525, an advanced PC/104+ product based on the Intel Atom processor, as well as the Intel ICH8M Southbridge. The design is sophisticated and compact, ideal for industrial applications with highest requirements. The typical power consumption of the PBATOM- L+ N455 is under 10 watt. For price sensitive applications that require the optimal balance between performance and energy consumption.

The PB-ATOM-L+N455/D425/D525 is offered in three different CPU-variants. One version has the Intel Atom processor N455 with 1,66 GHz clock frequency 512MB 2L Cache and 667 MHz Front-Side- and memory bus, the Intel Atom processor D425 with 1,8 GHz clock frequency 512MB 2L Cache and 667 MHz Front-Side- and memory bus and the high performance version Atom processor D525 with 1,8 GHz dual core with 800 MHz Front-Side- and memory bus . Moreover both achievements have a 1MB L2-Cache and a SO-DIMM socket to mount up to 2GByte DDR3-RAM 667/800MHz.

The PB-ATOM-L+-N455/D425/D525 is based on the Intel Atom processors N455, D425 and D525, as well as the Intel ICH8M chipset. The performance is currently 1,66GHz to 2x 1,8GHz. The DDR3-RAM supports up to 4GB (D525) and is added via SO-DIMM socket. The graphic controller Intel GMA 3150 is integrated inside the Intel Atom processor and supports CRT displays up to a resolution of 2048x1536 (60Hz) and 18Bit LVDS displays up to a resolution of 1366x768. This interfaces are available: 2x RS232 (1x RS232, 1x RS232/422/485), 4x USB2.0, 1x SATA, 1x CFast socket and dual LAN 10/100/1000MBit as well as a high definition audio interface. Furthermore the board has a 16Bit ISA bus (PC/104) and a 32Bit PCI bus (PCI-104).
