Axiomtek unveil advanced OPS digital signage player

Axiomtek have today announced the introduction of the new OPS880, an advanced OPS compliant digital signage player featuring 4th Generation Intel Core i3 and i5 processors. The high-performing OPS880 is engineered to be installed into any OPS-compliant digital signage display to enable faster and easier installation, and straightforward upgrading and maintenance.

It is an ideal choice for multi-display applications in shopping mall, corporate, education, hospitality, religious organization, bank, transportation, retail store, restaurant, and performing art center.Benefiting from Intel AMT 9.0, the new OPS880 signage player can easily achieve integration, remote diagnosis and maintenance at lower costs.The extreme compact signage player also supports an easy-to-change 8 GB DDR3L SO-DIMM memory and one mSATA interface for operating system and storage. Two PCI Express Mini Card slots are available for graphics-enhanced video card, wireless LAN card for 802.11 b/g/n and 3G/GPRS, and tuner/AV capture card. Axiomtek OPS880 is designed to meet the various yet critical challenges of today's digital signage requirements.

The newest Intel Core-based OPS880 is connected to displays via a standardized JAE TX-25 plug connector, and includes HDMI interface, DisplayPort, UART, audio, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 signals. The signage player also supports one 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet port, RS-232 port and USB 3.0 port to enable fast and efficient data computation and communication. In addition, one mSATA interface and two PCI Express Mini Card slots are equipped for flexible storage and expansion option.
