With a power consumption of just 10W/hr from a single 5V supply, the new eBox-3300 from Datasound Laboratories is a low power computer solution with the performance of a full sized pc. Inside the fanless, compact, unobtrusive casing is a 1GHz processor, supported by a host of energy and space saving features. Easily mounted on the back of an LCD monitor, the VGA XGI Z9s with 32MB DDR2 and an external 15-pin D-type female VGA connector, provide exceptional graphics.
The CPU has 256MB of DDR2 memory, enabling the system to run Windows and Linux operating systems. Communications are catered for with Ethernet Integrated 10/100 Mbps LAN plus and there is also an optional second Ethernet Realtek RTL8100B 10/100Mbps Ethernet I/O if required.

Other features include a 44pin IDE box header, a bootable Micro SD socket and CF slot,

Three USB 2.0 sockets, RJ-45, PS2 for keyboard/mouse, Mini PCI socket , two RS-232 ports and Mic in and Line out to support audio.

The fanless operation of the eBox-3300 significantly improves the life of the computer by
preventing dust ingression and the whole system weighs just 505gr.
