Axiomtek unveils its new fanless, slim-type network appliance platform, the NA-110, built on AMD G-series APU T24L 1.0GHz with A50M chipset. The low-power NA-110 comes in a small package with a height of just 30mm and a weight of 2.2kg, which can easily fit into any confined space and harsh environment. It offers up to 4GB of DDR3 SO-DIMM RAM, one PCI Express Mini Card expansion, CFast socket, 2.5“ SATA HDD, four gigabit Ethernet ports, and dual USB 2.0 ports.
This entry-level network appliance platform offers users a value segment solution and stable network performance with fanless operation and low power consumption at a reasonable cost.

“This extremely cost-effective NA-110 desktop network platform uses one of AMD’s lowest power G-Series APU, the T24L, with a TDP of just five Watts. This model is designed for network applications where low-power and fanless operation is desirable. At the same time, the NA-110 has adopted a cable-less design internally. With a small form factor design, the NA-110 offers four high-speed Gigabit network connections using Realtek 8111E LAN chip and each Ethernet interface has LED indicators for activity and transfer rate status. This multi-Gigabit network appliance is ideal for VPN, firewall, UTM, and network management applications,” said Philip Wei, Product Manager of Product & Marketing Division at Axiomtek.

Axiomtek’s NA-110 features one 2.5 SATA HDD and mainstream CFast socket for storing event log. One PCI Express Mini card is available for WiFi card installation. Other I/O features include one console port and two USB 2.0 ports for local system management, maintenance and diagnostics. For easy maintenance, the front panel has a front-facing LED indicator for power and HDD activity monitoring. The SOHO network appliance platform also supports mainstream Linux kernel 2.4 and 2.6 operating systems.

The super compact and low power NA-110 will be available around early September, 2012.
