An industrial-grade thin barebone system, the AIMB-B12300, has been announced by Advantech. Embedding the AIMB-230 Mini-ITX motherboard, the system supports the latest 4th generation Intel Core i5/ Celeron processors, enabling lower power consumption and better graphic performance. It is suited for space-limited applications including medical equipment, gaming machines, digital signage and communications.

Utilising 4th generation Intel Core i processors, the AIMB-B12300 saves 25% energy more than the previous generation and features improved graphic and computing performance. 3D graphics integrated into the chipset and a variety of display interfaces allow up to three high resolution screen outputs. The system can effectively reduce noise when matched with an appropriate heat pipe for a passive silent thermal solution.

The AIMB-B12300 is preloaded with SUSIAccess remote management software, saving development costs and enhancing system management efficiency. SUSIAccess provides remote device management, system recovery and system protection. This enables users to remotely monitor, configure, control and recover multiple systems through a single console.

Only 35mm in height, the industrial-grade barebone system features a lockable DC Jack solution to prevent the power cord from accidentally detaching and a wall mounting kit which offers easy assembly. I/O functionality includes: one DisplayPort/HDMI, one Dual-mode DisplayPort, four USB 3.0, two USB 2.0, two Serial Slots, two LAN, one SATA III for 2.5” HDD, one mSATA, one 8-bit general purpose I/O, two Mini PCIe expansion slots and two antenna holes.

AIMB-B12300 is available now.
