Amplicon has introduced the MACH, GRS and RS family of Industrial Ethernet switches from Belden. The industrial Ethernet switches provide robust and best-in-class performance offering Network Engineers the confidence that a reliable, future proofed system is being delivered.

The new MACH, GRS and RS family of Industrial Ethernet switches support Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet and even 10 Gigabit Ethernet for low, high and core bandwidth scenarios.

These products provide expansion modules for lower upgrade costs and unforeseen network growth. The long product life cycles and the combination of price to ports ratio and extensive software features (HiOS) deliver consistent uptime and network protection.

Accommodating network bandwidth from 100Mbs to 10Gbs across a mixture of copper or fibre ports protects the network from latency, congestion and packet delay. Offering 8-51, port density is not an issue and HiOS provides routing, diagnostics, security and traffic control with some of the most widely used protocols such as QoS, DHCP, IGMP, VLAN, HTTP(S) and many more.

Specifically designed to outperform in applications such as factory automation, substation and transport, the units offer wide temperature ranges from -40-85°C, DC and AC power input and a vast number of approvals.

Dominic Dempster, Data Communications Product Specialist at Amplicon commented: “Belden’s Industrial Ethernet range fills the gap between current and future requirements, allowing customers to save on upgrade costs with the plug-n-play style design and maintenance costs with the modular “hot-swappable” nature. The GRS is one of the most affordable and expandable products on the market today, which is essential in an ever growing IIoT environment.”
