Axiomtek has launched IPC922-215-FL, an energy-efficient fanless 2-slot industrial system with rugged mechanism and optimised expandability. The extreme compact IP30-rated IPC922-215-FL utilises an onboard Intel Celeron quad core processor J1900 2.42GHz with one DDR3L 1333 up to 8GB memory.

To fulfill difference application needs, the rugged Intel Bay Trail SoC barebone embedded system provides great expansion capability with two flexible PCI/PCIe slots that can be customised. Additionally, the Axiomtek IPC922-215-FL can withstand temperatures ranging from -10 to 50°C, and is equipped with a wide range 18-28VDC power input for industrial application.

“Axiomtek’s IPC922-215-FL is a rugged and highly configurable fanless industrial PC with PCI/PCIe expansion for a variety of embedded controller applications. It is also easy to maintain and upgrade, with its convenience front-facing I/O access and flexible expansion options. The Intel Celeron quad-core fanless industrial PC can be easily wall-mounted on any surface, making it easier to apply in a wider range of environments. This 2-slot rugged industrial computer is an application-ready embedded platform targeted at industrial automation, smart factory, gaming, DVR and digital signage applications,” said Jack Tseng, Product Manager of Product PM Division, Axiomtek.

The IPC922-215-FL supports one 2.5” SATA HDD and an onboard CompactFlash for storage. Moreover, the all-in-one Intel Bay Trail SoC shoebox computer offers rich I/O connections on the front side of the housing, including two Gigabit LAN ports, four USB 2.0 ports, four RS-232/422/485 ports, one VGA port and PS/2 keyboard and mouse. Moreover, the 2-slot fanless embedded PC supports various power protection including OVP (Over voltage protection), OTP (over temperature protection), OPP (over power protection) and SCP (over circuit protection) for more system safety.
