American Industrial Systems Inc. (AIS), introduces a complete line of HMI Operator Terminals supporting Modbus TCP remote I/O protocol through AIS™ Web-based Ethernet I/O modules. The open source web based HMI Panel PC™s with integrated touchscreens connects to industrial automation PLC, DSC, SCADA, PAC™s using industry standard protocols such as DeviceNet, Modbus TCP, Modbus, Profibus. The HMI/SCADA terminals are designed to real-time monitor, control, and display graphical information to operators; ideal for packaging and material handling equipment, food & beverage, automotive, chemical, and utility industries.
The web based open platform human machine interfaces are available in small sizes 5.7 all the way to 20.1 sizes, supporting built-in touchscreens, gigabit Ethernet, and RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485 I/O connections. AIS™ HMI terminal solutions utilize the latest in RISC based processors for low power consumption, reliable operation in addition to the high power fanless Intel® Atom Processor line. Industrial solid-state storages solutions are available to high shock and vibration applications which require a long lifetime read/write performance. Staying connected is simple with available WiFi 802.11b/g connectivity available in many systems, eliminating the need to run additional cables. High Resolution, sharp, high brightness LCD displays with touchscreen interface allows intelligent user interaction for graphical display automation, monitoring, and control in new ways where traditional monochrome graphical displays and physical buttons were unable to produce in the past.

These rugged operator interface terminals are available in waterproof and dustproof enclosures to ensure complete all-weather protection capable of operating under extreme temperatures -20 to 60 degrees C. VESA standard mounting holes are available on every unit for easy deployment into any installation. AIS™ commercial off the shelf (COTS) predesigned operator terminal provides a cost effective control interface which is easily integrated to new and existing installations reducing the time to market and competitiveness where service, availability, reliability, and technology are paramount.
