AdvancedTCA carrier accepts any PCIe edge-type module
An AdvancedTCA carrier for one PCIe Gen 3 card has been released by VadaTech. The ATC121 features an Xeon E3-1268L V3 processor, quad-core at 2.3GHz or turbo frequency at 3.3GHz. To accept any standard PCIe edge-type module, the carrier has an x16 PCIe Gen 3 slot.
Several graphics ports, including dual Display Port input and DVI-D and Display Port outputs, are provided with the device. For different I/O front panel options, VadaTech offers customised versions of the ATC121.
The ATC121 AdvancedTCA carrier is offered with an optional on-board VT003 shelf manager. This shelf manager is the company’s standard 3rd gen shelf manager for AdvancedTCA boards, which can also be used as a mezzanine in several 1U MicroTCA solutions.
For additional storage, the carrier is offered with optional mSATA sockets.
