4K video transport NIC module powered by Intel Xeon E3-1515 v5 CPU

With the demands of computing-intensive and video processing capabilities in the server domain, Lanner has released its high-performance video transport card NCS2-VT02A in NIC module form factor, driven by Intel Xeon E3-1515 v5 CPU (codenamed Skylake) and CM236 chipset. The card supports 4K ultra-HD resolution and H.265 compression and is designed with Intel Iris Pro GT4e graphics to deliver high resolution image-processing and compression for video convergence demands. The card will serve as expansion module for Lanner’s network computing appliances.

NCS2-VT02A is empowered by Intel Xeon E3-1515 v5 CPU (codenamed Skylake) and CM236 chipset to be deployed in computing-intensive and mission critical applications in today’s network and video convergence. The CPU supports high graphic processing, DDR4 memory and virtualisation technologies for video-on-demand services to conduct tasks including de-interlacing, image scaling, frame rate conversion and graphical acceleration. With the card installed in Lanner’s network appliances, the resolution and quality for video output will be enhanced by multiples.

The card is built with 4K ultra-HD resolution and H.265 compression technology to deliver the ultimate output for online video streaming and multimedia outputs. In addition, NCS2-VT02A is programmed with Intel Iris Pro graphics to further enhance video transport quality and serviceability. As the card comes with its own HDMI port, installation and connection are made conveniently.

NCS2-VT02A is recommended for media convergences, smartphone/tablet gaming, video streaming, VOD and other online multimedia applications.
